3) An AV signal is inputted to an MPEG-2 encoder, the encoder outputs the data transmitting stream (TS). The TS is inputted to the multiplexer, and then to the QPSK modulator. An RF signal is produced for transmission by a microwave emitter system. One AV signal needs one encoder
4) All streams are encrypted by the CA system: The end user must be enabled by the system operator to decrypt the stream through a set top box (STB). The STB decrypts the digital video stream
